The house is an hour's drive east of Malaga between the white villages of Torrox and Cómpeta. The town of Torrox is at an approximate distance of 6 km and about 15 minutes by car. The house is located on the top of the mountain, therefore, enjoy fabulous views of the mountains, the sea and the coast between Nerja and Malaga. You can also enjoy a visit to Competa at approx. 7 km The access to the villa is excellent. When leaving the highway you are within walking distance of the main Torrox / Cómpeta road (A-7207), then take the road towards Cómpeta about 4.5 km and finally you reach the Montealegre area of Torrox where you take the More concrete mountain road to reach the house. The town of Torrox, belonging to the Axarquía region, offers an excellent location to enjoy the Andalusian white villages with their cuisine and holidays. Of great interest is the feast of Our Lady of the Snows, on August 5, which allows you to enjoy traditional processions, fireworks and folk dance. In addition, the festival of crumbs that is celebrated on Sunday before Christmas Eve in December, is a festival of National Tourist Interest where you can enjoy the sweet wine made by the inhabitants of Torrox and taste the traditional dish of yesteryear, Las Migas . Torrox has 9 kilometers of a wonderful dark sandy coast to walk and enjoy the traditional "fried fish", anchovies and sardines with a traditional Summer Tinto. In the surroundings you can also enjoy the fantastic beaches of the Maro Natural Park, where you can practice Kayak and Snorkel or enjoy the Nerja Caves, unforgettable natural spectacle or the route to walk along the Chillar riverbed in Nerja. As a family, we prefer to self cater and have our own space for holidays so and stayed in lots of lovely villas over the years. However, El Paraiso is the cleanest, quietest and has the best views we have ever experienced. The villa is very spacious and comfortable inside and the outdoor facilities are simply spectacular! Carlos is super welcoming and makes himself accessible but never obtrusive throughout your holiday, ensuring that you have everything you need to have a good time. We had a calm, relaxing stress free holiday, enjoying the super clean pool, a range of places to sit, sleep, eat and relax outside, watching the fabulous sunsets. The villa and pool have a range of lights for the evening, a spotless outdoor kitchen with a BBQ, an outdoor shower for the lovely pool with amazing views over the valley towards the coast. The pool area is tastefully decorated and the tropical plants and garden add to the relaxed atmosphere.
There is even a laundry room and drying area if you feel inclined to do some washing. We absolutely loved it and didn’t want to come home. There is a lovely covered terrace area for outdoor dining but we also enjoyed food out locally in Torrox and at the coast and gourmet dining at a local winery; we visited some of the white villages and benefitted from a bit of culture in Malaga so all had plenty to do. Hopefully, we will get the chance to come again as we all had a fabulous time. Thank you, Carlos.
